SCCM 2012 Configuration Manager "Application Management" area Error Your data failed to save.

Note I just would like to modify it and keep getting this message below when I try to either remove it or modify it:

Configuration Manager
Your data failed to save. Please check your network connection and try again.

What a pain in the BUTT with this and need some Help!

Thanks

Note that all I am trying to do at this point is to either modify the current application, delete it entirely from the Application Management area and just create a brand new Application, but it keeps giving an error and slowing the process of being able to deploy any applications period, so anyone that has received this message and has some answers would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Freddie

Is it only when you try to create/delete/modify applications? Not packages or collections and so on?

How is the network conenction between the console you are using and the primary site server? Are you using the console on the server or do you have it installed on a client computer?

indeed only @ applications : I can delete or modify a package....I can add clients, I can create collections ,I can OSD and these applications are even deployed....I can do anything except change an application...

Ok, I solved it myself...it took the db offline and got it online again (after a restore)...and that caused the issue.

run on database :

ALTER DATABASE <ConfigMgr DB> SET TRUSTWORTHY ON

and then :

EXEC sp_changedbowner 'sa'

Then I ran trough the setup to configure the database (as if you would move it but i left all settings identical)

Was your issue caused from a restore?

I have the same thing happening to me, but I haven't changed anything in SQL.

I've been working on this issue and tried various things.  I did not try this SQL trick.  However, what worked for me was increasing the RAM on my server.  Once I did this, the error went away.  I reduced the RAM on the server, and the problem was back again.  So an increase in RAM did it for me.
